The Background

Bluish-green handmade paper.

The surfaces need sandpapering, but they're strong, sturdy. This looks alright. Synthetic glue won't work here, though, so we'll need board pins. What's that you're saying...adhesive tape? That never works!

This feels like somebody else's house...in a good way. And this feels like someone else's city, too. I feel like a particularly welcome guest. The unfamiliarity is delicious.

Pardon me if I am commenting like some freak on all your posts, but they are so darn good ! hehe.

to me welcome unfamiliarity is this : Walking on a road with houses on either side at dusk. And passing by a house, where you cant see/hear/feel the occupants but you hear wind chimes clinging on their porch, as you walk by and you stop for just a second to hear them and watch them. The breeze stops and you move on. That second, that breeze and those wind chimes together symbolize welcome unfamiliarity. Vague huh :) But it always brings a smile on my face.

Wow...that was awesome! A part of someone else's life, and yet not quite...i've often felt that way gazing down from a plane or from a train window...part of someone else's life for a fleeting second...but you just gave it some whole new imagery with the wind chimes and the breeze...awesome. :)

No, you're not commenting like a freak. I'm loving every bit of this. :)
